My name is Dr. Edna Aurelus.  I am an Associate Professor and a clinician. I am licensed to practice primary and psychiatric mental health in the four following states:  Arizona, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York. My extensive experience in psychiatry includes the old St. Vincent Hospital, currently known as Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC), South Beach Psychiatric Center in Staten Island, NY.  Banner Behavioral Health Hospital and PerryVille Prison, the only state female prison in Arizona. I am currently the lead professor for the psychiatric nursing course at Wagner College.  I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles related to primary care, global health issues and psychiatric mental health as well as co-authored the book, "Trauma Informed Classrooms."

Accreditations

 I completed my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from New York Institute of Technology in the spring of 2005 and my Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Wagner College in the fall of 2008. In the spring of 2014, I completed my Doctorate in Advanced Nursing Practice at Arizona State University. I am dually board certified from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

In the spring of 2018, I completed a Post-Doctorate Degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Arizona State University, graduated Summa Cum Laude.
